Midlife can bring changes in energy, sleep, mood, weight, body composition, menstrual cycles, and how you feel in your body.
At Ami Swanson Wellness, care begins by listening to what you’re experiencing and understanding what matters most to you.
Together, we’ll focus on the foundations that support your health—nutrition, movement and strength, sleep, recovery, and sustainable daily habits—while thoughtfully using evidence-based medical treatment when it can meaningfully help.
The goal is not perfection. It’s helping you understand what’s changing, feel better, and build a strong foundation for the years ahead.
I work with women navigating the physical and hormonal changes of midlife who want thoughtful medical care and practical support for feeling well now and protecting their health for the years ahead.
You may not feel quite like yourself. Your sleep, mood, energy, cycles, weight, strength, or body composition may be changing. Or you may simply be ready to take a more intentional approach to your health as you move through your 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond.
Care may include support for:
A simple, step-by-step approach:
1. Clarity Call
A brief phone call to connect, ask questions, and see if this feels like the right fit.
2. Foundational Assessment
A two-part starting point to understand your health history, symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and priorities. We’ll begin with practical next steps, consider whether targeted testing or treatment may help, and reconnect in Part 2 to review your personalized plan and decide what comes next.
3. Ongoing Support After your Foundational Assessment, we’ll decide together on the next best step for your care—whether that means focused support through a six-month membership or ongoing care for continued guidance, hormone therapy, and medication management.
Do you prescribe hormone therapy?
Yes. When appropriate, hormone therapy can be part of your personalized care plan. We'll discuss your symptoms, health history, goals, potential benefits and risks, and whether hormone therapy is appropriate for you. Lifestyle foundations remain an important part of care whether or not you use medication.
What is the Foundational Assessment?
This two-part assessment is where we start. We’ll review your health history, symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and priorities; begin with practical next steps; and decide whether targeted testing or treatment may be helpful. In Part 2, we’ll reconnect to review your personalized plan and decide what comes next.

meet ami
I created Ami Swanson Wellness because I wanted women to have a place where they could slow down, ask questions, feel heard, and make thoughtful decisions about their health.
Midlife brings real physiological changes—but it can also be an opportunity to become more intentional about how you care for yourself.
My role is to help you understand what's changing, identify what matters most, and build a realistic plan that supports your health now and for the years ahead.
-Ami
Choose Well is the philosophy behind my care: making thoughtful, sustainable choices that support how you feel today and protect your health for the years ahead.
Together, we’ll strengthen the foundations of your health and thoughtfully use evidence-based medical treatment when it can help.
